Service Center

How to use the Service Center

Find answers, look up city services, pay a bill, and report problems like potholes or broken streetlights — from any phone or computer, any time.

Open the Service Center

The four tabs

The Service Center page has four tabs across the top. Pick the one that matches what you need:

Get Answers

Search common questions or browse by topic — permits, utilities, jobs, and more.

My Services

Department phone numbers, emails, hours, and addresses in one place.

Make a Payment

Utility bills, permit fees, citations, and other payments.

Report an Issue

Tell the city about a pothole, streetlight, graffiti, or other problem — and track it.

Some cities add a fifth Meetings tab with upcoming agendas and minutes. You may also see quick Answers / Pay / Report buttons in the corner of other pages on the site — they open the right tab directly.

Get Answers

  1. Search. Type a few words in How can we help? — for example “fence permit” or “water service”. Matching questions appear first, then matching topics.
  2. Or browse. Choose a category, then a topic, then the question.
  3. Read the answer. Use Back or the breadcrumb trail to return to where you were.

The Common services list at the top links straight to the city’s most-requested tasks.

My Services

Choose a service (for example Trash & Recycling or Water & Sewer) to see the department, phone, email, hours, address, and a link to the department’s page. Tap a phone number to call or an email address to write.

The Today in … panel shows City Hall’s hours, a Directions link, and current weather.

Make a Payment

  1. Under What would you like to pay?, choose the payment type.
  2. Read Before you start — it tells you what number to have ready (account, permit, or citation number).
  3. Select Continue to secure payment. You’ll go to the city’s payment provider to finish.

Card details are entered on the payment provider’s secure site, not on this website. If a payment type says online payment isn’t set up yet, call the department listed under My Services.

Report an Issue

You don’t need an account. It takes about a minute.

  1. Choose a category that best fits the problem, such as Pothole / Road damage or Streetlight out. Use Something else if nothing fits.
  2. Describe what’s happening. Include details that help a crew find and fix it — size, which side of the street, how long it’s been there.
  3. Add the location. Type the nearest address or intersection.
  4. Pin the spot on the map (optional). Click or tap the map, press Enter on the map with a keyboard, use Use my location, or search for an address. If the city limits are outlined, the pin must be inside the outline.
  5. Add a photo (optional). JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF, up to 5 MB. Wait for Photo attached before submitting.
  6. Add your email (optional) to get a confirmation and an email every time the status changes.
  7. Select Submit report.

Save your tracking code. When the report goes through you’ll see a code like SR2600012 (older reports: SC-7K2QXD). Write it down or screenshot it — it’s how you check progress. If you gave your email, the code is in your confirmation email too.

For emergencies, call 911. This form is for non-emergency issues and isn’t monitored around the clock.

Track a report

On Report an Issue, select Track a report by code, enter your code, and select Check status. Codes aren’t case-sensitive.

What each status means

My reports on the Report tab lists reports made from your browser, and — if you’re signed in — every report made with your account or email address.

Your reports in My Dashboard

If you have an account on this site, sign in and open My Dashboard → My Reports. You’ll see:

  • My open reports — a count on your dashboard home.
  • My Reports — every report linked to your account or email, with its current status and last update.
  • Quick actions to Report an issue, Track a report, or Make a payment.
  • City Hall Help — this guide.

Tips, accessibility & privacy

  • Keyboard: move between tabs with the arrow keys; Tab moves into the content. Everything works with a screen reader.
  • Phones: the Service Center is built for small screens. Use my location needs your browser’s permission.
  • Limits: to stop spam, one connection can send about five reports an hour. If you hit the limit, try again later or call the city.
  • Photo privacy: location data and device details hidden inside photos are removed automatically, and the file is renamed.
  • What’s public: your email, photo, and tracking code are never shown publicly. If the city turns on the public reported-issues map, it shows the category, status, date, and pin — and, only if the city chooses, the location text and a short excerpt of the description. Don’t put personal information in the description.
